DBT Skills Group

Adult DBT Skills Group - Day/Time TBD

Teen DBT Skills Group - Day/Time TBD

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a commonly recommended form of treatment for a variety of presenting problems, from mood disorders, anxiety, relationship struggles, to chronic stress.  Often DBT is recommended in both individual and group treatment modalities, where individual treatment can focus on the individual processing their specific struggles, and group time is focused on honing DBT skills.

DBT skills include: emotion regulation strategies, mindfulness practices, relationship and communication skills, problem-solving and conflict resolution approaches, distress tolerance techniques, as well as a variety of coping and stress management tools.

During this weekly group you will be introduced to, learn, and have the opportunity to master DBT skills. This group is divided by age group level.  You will meet with the lead therapist for an intake session where the therapist can get to know you, can recommend a group level, and assess for how well the group will fit your needs. Please note: Our DBT Skills Groups are offered as DBT-informed treatment. We do not offer full DBT programming.

We require DBT Skills Group participants to verify they are currently in individual treatment as well. Our group therapist to be able to consult and collaborate with your individual therapist. (Your individual therapist does not need to be from our practice or a DBT therapist).

Please fill out the form below if you are interested in enrollment.  Our patient assistant will contact you with further information.
