Katelyn Hahn, MA (she/her/hers)

Katelyn Hahn is our Case Management Supervisor.  Katelyn oversees staff and ensures our clinicians provide the best case management possible for our patients. Katelyn does not currently offer direct patient care.

Background

Katelyn Hahn is a licensed professional counselor (LPC ) who has been with Brighter Pathways since 2016. Katelyn earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Psychology degree at Roosevelt University. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University.  Katelyn’s clinical training included community mental health work, where she specialized in in treating children, adolescents, and families exposed to domestic violence and sexual assault.  Katelyn also gained valuable experience working in therapeutic day school setting with students struggling with behavioral, emotional, social and sensory issues.  Katelyn is also experienced in a variety of group therapies addressing such topics as: social skills, anti-bullying, identifying and expressing feelings, managing anger, reducing anxiety, problem-solving, and empowerment groups.

Katelyn has continued her education and training in dialectical behavioral treatment; motivational interviewing; nutrition and mental health; psychiatric medications; anxiety disorders in children and adolescents; proven techniques for ODD, ASD, ADHD and mood disorders, ethics in treatment, self-regulation techniques for children with Autism, ADHD and sensory disorders; as well as executive functioning.
